About the Role:

Fawkes & Reece is seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to join our team for a commercial fit out project in Central London. As a Finishing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the finishing stages of the project, ensuring a high standard of health & safety, and delivering the project on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the finishing stages of the project, including overseeing the installation of finishes, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Ensure a high standard of health & safety on site, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the Project Manager and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial fit out projects, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Longevity in freelance roles with major contractors in the industry.
  • Proficiency in Procore and other project management software.
  • Experience in delivering residential fit outs and major M+E projects.
  • Strong understanding of building floor plates and ability to interpret plans and specifications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • SMSTS, First Aid, Fire Marshall, and Black Card/NVQ Level 6 certifications.
