About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Infrastructure Management Specialist to join our team in Sweden. As a key member of our Data Center Engineering Operations Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our data centre infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a technical expert for Engineering Operation Technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in data centres.
  • Work independently with minimal direct management, taking ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Assist in the design and build-out of new facilities, ensuring they meet Amazon's high standards.
  • Serve as an escalation point for all facilities-related technical issues within the data centre region, working flexible hours as needed to ensure site stability.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in electrical and mechanical competencies, including knowledge of safe electrical practices and experience with data centre infrastructure.
  • Fundamental knowledge of network design and layout, including copper/fibre cabling, BMS systems, and monitoring/alarming systems.
Preferred Qualifications

We welcome candidates with:

  • 6+ years of experience in operations and on-call support for data centre facilities or mission-critical plants/production facilities.
  • Project management experience, demonstrating your ability to lead and deliver complex projects.
