Learning Support Assistant for ASD

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Educators Wales, supporting learners with social communication difficulties and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in mainstream secondary schools.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of ASD and be able to provide targeted support to students, enabling them to achieve their full potential.

Main duties include working closely with colleagues to develop individualised learning plans, providing one-to-one support and group work, and collaborating with teachers to ensure seamless integration into the curriculum.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with special needs.

Requirements:
  • Experience of working within a secondary school environment.
  • Able to work flexibly as a hybrid worker, providing support from various locations.

The estimated salary for this role is between £28,770 - £31,364 Per Annum, commensurate with experience.
