Job Title: A Night Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Site Manager to join our team at Recruit Mint Ltd. As a Night Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects of varying values, primarily retail projects, but also including commercial projects, MOD, MOJ, schools, care homes, and upgrade works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the project, ensuring high standards are always a priority.
  • Monitor Health & Safety practices and CDM Regulations on site.
  • Attend regular site meetings with clients, architects, quantity surveyors, and planning supervisors.
  • Prepare reports, programme updates, progress, and profitability reports.
  • Agree pricing and instructions with your manager.
  • Contribute to formulating valuations and final accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of tenders.
  • Procure, negotiate terms, and monitor the performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Contribute to and attend financial and progress meetings with clients, engineers, and subcontractors as required.
  • Provide support to the site team to optimise the use of contract resources.
  • Maintain deadlines in line with requirements.
Requirements:
  • A construction-related qualification and/or a relevant trade qualification.
  • Proven and recent experience as a Site Manager within a retail construction environment.
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
  • First Aid at Work Qualification.
  • CSCS Card - Black or Gold.
  • Asbestos Awareness Qualification.
  • IPAF MEWP 3a & 3b.
  • SPA.
  • Willingness to work in varied locations with flexibility as we often work difficult hours and travel frequently.
  • Preparedness to undertake training programmes as deemed necessary by the Company.
  • Competence in the use of a range of IT packages.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.
  • A full current UK driving licence and at least 6 months driving experience since passing your test.
