Development Management Director

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of schemes from planning to contract execution, ensuring timely commencement on site.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with the Land and Planning Manager at critical stages of the planning submissions.
- Identify, appoint, and manage external design teams to meet project briefs and ensure design programs are achieved.
- Appoint and coordinate relevant testing and reports to support design completion and planning.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure timely information exchange.
- Liaise with the Commercial Team to ensure designs align with project budgets.
- Coordinate planning submissions and condition discharge.
- Research and explore design options to improve build quality and identify value engineering opportunities.
- Adhere to Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements, procedures, and policies.
- Good knowledge of design processes and construction design stages with a Main Contractor or house builder.
- Technical knowledge and ability to use design and project management software.
- Understanding of planning processes, Section Agreements, and their timelines.
- Knowledge of key design principles, including fire and acoustic requirements.
- Good understanding of current building regulations, SAP calculations, and their impact on design.
