Job SummaryThis role involves influencing new designs using New Product Introduction tools to ensure manufacturability of product designs and continually improving upon existing product designs.
The ideal candidate will translate these improvements into world-class processes that meet business and customer requirements for Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery.
As part of the Engineering Producibility Team, you will work closely with other departments to ensure delivery of parts to set timescales and targeted costs.
You will identify and develop opportunities for new or improved manufacturing processes, digital systems, and technologies to meet current or future requirements.
Liaison with other departments such as Design Engineering & Technology, Manufacturing, Quality, and Purchasing is essential to ensure delivery of parts to set timescales and targeted costs.
Support production to ensure product flow in the factory and control and reduce costs to drive profitability by continuously challenging methods of manufacture.
