Job Overview:

Sona Resourcing LTD is recruiting an IT Support Engineer to work on a short-term contract in Preston. As part of our client's IT team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of their IT infrastructure and systems in the UK.

The role involves shadowing the current postholder before taking over, ensuring seamless continuity. Key responsibilities include maintaining and developing IT and Telecoms infrastructure and systems, ensuring correct operation of all IT-related equipment, managing third-party IT & Telecoms support companies, and producing information systems for departments to make decisions.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
  • Knowledge of MS SQL Server reporting tools
  • Ability to maintain security and IT equipment on site
  • Immediate availability to start

Salary Range: £38,000 - £45,000 per year (dependent on experience)
