As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design, planning, delivery, and quality assurance of comprehensive competency-based programs for multi-disciplinary staff development in a specialist mental health context.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on the provision of comprehensive competency-based programs for multi-disciplinary staff development relating to essential clinical risk skills in a specialist mental health context.
- Design and deliver mandatory training relating to sexual safety and therapeutic observations.
- Ensure the review of implementation and effectiveness of development programs in addressing specific identified learning or clinical needs.
- Promote meaningful staff engagement in work-based learning opportunities.
- Support the analysis of training needs and quality assurance measures for competency-based blended learning programs.
- Provide managerial and clinical leadership in the area of responsibility.

Requirements- Education: Educated to degree level with a recognized relevant professional qualification in healthcare or social work.
- Registration: Current registration with a relevant professional body.
- Postgraduate Certificate: Postgraduate Certificate in Education or similar, or willingness to work towards.
- Continuing Professional Development: Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Management/Leadership Development: Evidence of management/leadership development.
- Postgraduate Qualification: Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field.
- Experience: Demonstrable post-registration experience in relevant clinical practice.
- Risk Assessment and Management: Demonstrable experience in risk assessment and management.
- Mental Health Clinical Skills: Proficient in mental health clinical skills, including assessing and managing clinical risk.
- Training and Coaching: Able to train and coach others in essential mental health clinical skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Presentation: Able to effectively present complex information to individuals or small groups.
- Service User Focus: Evidence of service user focus and/or co-production.
- Workload Prioritization: Proficient in workload prioritization and managing competing demands.
- Leadership: Capacity to provide strategic direction and leadership, encourage high standards of work, leading by example.
