Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced mental health clinician to join our Mandatory and Essential Skills Training team. As a Clinical Skills Training Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive competency-based programs for multi-disciplinary staff development in a specialist mental health context.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead on the provision of competency-based training programs, including design, planning, delivery, and quality assurance.
  • Design and deliver mandatory training on sexual safety and therapeutic observations.
  • Review and ensure the effectiveness of development programs in addressing specific learning or clinical needs.
  • Promote staff engagement in work-based learning opportunities.
  • Support analysis of training needs and quality assurance measures for competency-based blended learning programs.
  • Provide managerial and clinical leadership in the area of responsibility.
