Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced mental health clinician to join our Mandatory and Essential Skills Training team. As a Clinical Skills Training Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive competency-based training programs for multi-disciplinary staff in a specialist mental health context.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team to develop and implement innovative training solutions that meet the needs of our workforce. You will be responsible for leading on the design, planning, delivery, and quality assurance of training programs, as well as identifying training needs and developing strategies to address them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver comprehensive competency-based training programs for multi-disciplinary staff in a specialist mental health context.
  • Lead on the design, planning, delivery, and quality assurance of training programs.
  • Identify training needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training programs meet the needs of the workforce.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective training delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in mental health clinical skills training and development.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance practice and risk management.
  • Ability to design and deliver training programs using a competency-based approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
