We are seeking a skilled Section Engineer to join our team at Kier Group, based in Somerset, Bridgwater. As a Section Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the technical compliance of our projects to the design specification, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the preparation of 'as-built' drawings and establish effective systems to record work completed and update the Project Quality Plan accordingly.
- Assist in the recording and testing of workmanship and materials, providing engineering support to overcome complex problems and answer queries.
- Ensure the workforce understands setting out information has been identified as suitable for the type of work being carried out.
- Manage the preparation of sketches for distribution on site, ensuring clear communication channels are in place for effective understanding.
- HNC/Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Commercial and Contractual awareness.
- Able to liaise in a professional manner with Client, Client Representatives, General Public, and a team leader with organizational skills.
- Having experience in a similar role.
