About the Role

BAM Nuttall is seeking a skilled Section Engineer to join our dynamic team, working on a major energy project in the South West of England. As a Section Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects, with a focus on sustainable infrastructure development.

Your Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of site engineers, chainpersons, and assistant engineers to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on site safety, environmental performance, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
  • Develop and implement setting out methods and techniques to ensure accurate and efficient construction.
  • Prepare and review 4-weekly programmes, monitoring progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe and efficient working practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including daily site diaries and inspection and test plans.
Requirements
  • Degree, HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent NVQ Level.
  • CSCS Level - Academically or Professionally Qualified Person/Supervisory/Manager.
  • SSSTS.
