Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to join our team at Ribbons and Reeves Limited. As a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with speech and language difficulties in a London Secondary School.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored communication sessions to small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis
  • Collaborate with the SENCO, teachers, and external speech and language professionals to implement intervention programmes
  • Monitor the progression of students and ensure they receive the necessary support
  • Work closely with the school's leadership team to develop and implement effective communication strategies
Requirements
  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology or Linguistics degree from a top 20 UK University
  • Experience working with children is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
