About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our Board of Trustees at White Lodge Centre. As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organisation and ensuring that we continue to provide high-quality services to those in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with our charity's objectives and governing documents.
  • Periodically review our objectives to reflect the evolving needs of society, while staying true to our mission.
  • Approve policies, plans, and budgets that align with our objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Uphold a collective and individual duty to act in the best interests of the charity and its beneficiaries at all times.
  • Maintain the Board's independence and manage conflicts of interest effectively.
Requirements
  • A strong understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities, and liabilities of Trusteeship.
  • Professional and personal integrity, with sound independent judgment.
  • The ability to think creatively.
  • Confidence in voicing your opinions and perspectives.
  • A qualification in Social Work or Health Care.
  • A strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the health and social care sector.
  • A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and the benefits of a diverse Board.
