Ground Handling Agent

The Ground Handling Agent role is a critical part of NHV GROUP's flying program, responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of passengers, baggage, and freight through the terminal. As a key interface with NHV's passengers, this role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Passenger and Baggage Handling: Check in passengers, manifest baggage and freight, and ensure timely loading and unloading of aircraft.
- Security Screening: Conduct security screening of baggage, freight, and passengers to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Aircraft Handling: Load and unload aircraft, and perform other tasks as required to support the flying program.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to NHV's passengers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other in-house teams, including Operations, Engineering, and Flight Crew, to deliver the day-to-day operation.
- Facilities Maintenance: Maintain the base facilities and terminal to a high standard, ensuring a safe and clean environment for passengers and staff.
- Shift Work: Work shift rotations, including Monday to Friday, with flexibility to adapt to changing operational requirements.
- Manual Handling: Frequently handle baggage and freight, requiring a high level of physical fitness and stamina.
- Weather Conditions: Work outside in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and weather events.
- Experience: At least 1 year of aviation and/or relevant operational experience.
- Certifications: Hold DNXCT certification in X-Ray equipment operation, and additional qualifications as deemed necessary to support the base.
- Language: Professional level of English, with understanding, speaking, and writing skills.
