Job Description:

CV-Library is seeking a dedicated and experienced Academic Support Worker to join our team. As an Academic Support Worker, you will work closely with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) to provide personalized support and promote academic and personal growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Support the class teacher to deliver tailored education programs
  2. Work one-to-one with students to identify and address learning gaps
  3. Provide personal care and support as needed
  4. Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  5. Develop strong relationships with students and staff

Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience working with students with ASD, SLD and PMLD
  2. Enhanced child and adult DBS check
  3. Right to work in the UK
  4. Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
