This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Transportation Specialist with Randstad Perm Professionals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering industrial goods across Yorkshire with a focus on exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for efficiently picking, packing, and delivering products while ensuring that customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver products promptly to designated areas.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Collect and process used equipment according to company infection control procedures.
  • Report service-related issues to the Area Administrator and Team Leader.
  • Complete and return company documentation to the Regional Operations Centre as required.
  • Ensure SAP compliance meets or exceeds KPI requirements.
  • Perform vehicle safety checks and ensure regular maintenance is up to date.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any customer interactions.

Requirements:

  • Full, clean driving license.
  • Previous experience driving a 3.5t vehicle.
  • Experience in a customer-focused driving position.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and adjust route plans as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in working with vulnerable individuals.
  • Basic IT skills for managing delivery logs and reporting.
