Babcock International Group is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Monitoring Manager to join our team. As a Compliance Monitoring Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance across our EASA and CAA Part, CAA Part CAMO, and BCAR operations.

The Role:

You will be responsible for overseeing and delivering a risk-based Compliance Monitoring Audit Plan, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, customer requirements, and other standards. You will work closely with the Accountable Manager and Safety & Compliance Director to monitor and support compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage the Compliance Monitoring Audit Programme to ensure all elements and activities are reviewed against regulatory requirements.
  • Perform scheduled audits and ensure findings are rectified within the accepted timescale.
  • Negotiate with CAA & EASA regulatory authorities regarding matters affecting our approvals and coordinate all communications.
  • Monitor and amend Part, CAMO, BCAR, and CAA Part 21G procedures and standard practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and submit formal amendments of the MOE / CAME / POE to the Authority.
  • Hold regular reviews of the Safety & Compliance System with the Engineering Management Team and Accountable Manager to monitor performance against regulatory standards.

This is a full-time role based at our Staverton site, with hybrid working arrangements available for the right candidate. We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Essential Experience:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of aviation regulations, including UK, EASA, and other national Part and Part CAMO frameworks.
  • Extensive experience with audit techniques, including Root Cause Analysis, Corrective and Preventive Action Development, and Continuation Training.
  • Practical experience and expertise in applying aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing Safety Management Systems based on UK management system requirements and ICAO Annex 19.
  • Experience in Authorisation issue, extension, renewal, or withdrawal procedures.
  • Previous experience as a Compliance Monitoring Manager, acceptable to EASA/CAA as a Form 4 holder.

Security Clearance:
