Construction Management Trainer

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional in construction management or civil engineering to join our team as a Construction Management Trainer at MidKent College. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of the construction industry by training and assessing apprentices in Higher Construction.
Responsibilities:
* Assessing apprentices in Higher Construction (level 4 and above) in accordance with approved College standards and applicable validating/moderating bodies.
* Preparing assessment materials, schemes of work, and assessment plans as required.
* Supporting the development and implementation of the revised curriculum.
* Undertaking quality assurance in collaboration with other College staff as applicable.
* Assisting students with UCAS references, supporting their pastoral needs, and guiding them in academic and personal matters.
Requirements:
* A full employment history from the time you left full-time education, including details of any gaps in employment explained.
* Information on all relevant education and qualifications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, employers, and colleagues.
* A strong understanding of construction management principles and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a teaching and assessing context.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Location: MidKent College, based in Maidstone, Kent.
