About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Care Support Worker to join our team at Ambient Support Limited. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live independently and improve their overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide social and emotional support to individuals, either in their homes or in the community
  • Support with personal care, including hygiene needs if required
  • Assist with shopping and budgeting
  • Build and maintain relationships with friends and family of our residents
  • Perform household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Accompany individuals on outings, such as walks, meals, and other activities
Requirements
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, including autism (full training will be provided)
  • Be a calm, caring individual with a positive outlook
  • Empathy, caring, and sensitivity to the needs of others
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer literacy
