We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Belvoir Home Care. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfer tasks, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Engage in activities and hobbies with clients, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion.
- Hold a genuine desire to help people and make a positive impact on their lives.
- Have a good level of spoken English and be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Have access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to drive to client visits.
- Be motivated to enrich the lives of clients and their families, promoting independence and well-being.
- Be able to commit to some weekend working, usually one in two, to ensure a balanced work-life schedule.
