Senior Physicist/Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Physicist/Engineer to join our Research and Development team at Edwards Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and advancing our vacuum and abatement technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new technology solutions to address complex vacuum and abatement challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new products and technologies
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in vacuum and abatement technology

Requirements

  • PhD in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in vacuum and abatement technology
  • Strong understanding of applied mathematics, thermo/fluid dynamics, and solid mechanics
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
