Senior Physicist/Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Physicist/Engineer to join our Research and Development team at Edwards Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and advancing our vacuum technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new technology solutions to address complex vacuum pumping problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test innovative vacuum technology
  • Conduct thorough analysis and testing to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of our vacuum technology solutions
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in vacuum technology

Requirements

  • PhD in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in vacuum technology research and development
  • Strong understanding of applied mathematics, thermo/fluid dynamics, and solid mechanics/dynamics
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
