About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Care Home Chef to join our client's team in Girvan, Scotland. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for residents while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is £16, paid on a weekly basis, along with accrued holiday pay.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of all food orders.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience as a Chef in a comparable setting.
  • PVG/DBS checks or the ability to acquire them.
  • Favorable consideration given to those with a Food Hygiene Level 2 certification.
  • Immediate Right to Work in the UK required.
