Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the purchase and sales ledger functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Purchase Ledger: Process and reconcile purchase invoices, manage supplier accounts, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Sales Ledger: Manage sales invoices, process customer payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Credit Control: Monitor and manage customer credit limits, ensure timely payment, and maintain a healthy cash flow.
  • Quarterly VAT: Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Fleet Management: Manage company vehicles, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile company bank statements, ensure accurate financial reporting, and identify any discrepancies.
  • Posting and Reconciling Intercompany Accounts: Manage intercompany transactions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain a healthy cash flow.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in purchase and sales ledger management.
  • Strong knowledge of invoice processing, payment runs, and supplier account reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software XERO.
