As a Field Housing Officer with Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited, you will play a vital role in delivering a proactive tenancy and property management service to our customers. You will be responsible for managing a patch of approximately 800 properties, spending 70-80% of your time in the field, and attending office-based training, team meetings, and collaboration days in Yeovil.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct home visits at key stages of the tenancy to ensure customers have the necessary skills, information, and support to succeed.
- Focus on property condition to ensure it is suitable, safe, and well-maintained by both the customer and the company.
- Regularly visit estates and blocks to inspect properties and work with other teams and external partners to maintain welcoming, clean, safe, and desirable neighbourhoods.
- Experience in tenancy and neighbourhood management or delivery of front-line customer service in a related field.
- Knowledge of relevant housing management and tenancy-related legislation and legal processes.
- Experience of working with vulnerable customers in challenging environments and multi-agency working.
- Support from a dedicated Hays consultant.
