About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Crime expert to lead our Financial Crime framework and provide strategic direction for our established risk-based approach.

This is a hands-on role where the successful individual will be responsible for developing a Financial Crime strategy to drive, promote, and mature a strong Financial Crime culture within the business.

The key components of the Financial Crime framework include:

  1. Maintaining and updating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial crime regulatory and legislative requirements.
  2. Undertaking and producing an annual enterprise-wide risk assessment (ERWA) to identify inherent risks and residual risk across the organisation.
  3. Informing an annual MLRO report to the Group's Risk & Compliance Committee using the ERWA.
  4. Providing dynamic and insightful reporting on activity for the CRO, ExCo, the Executive Risk Committee, and the Risk and Compliance Committee.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing and implementing Financial Crime frameworks in medium to large financial services institutions.

They will have a strong understanding of the regulatory requirements that apply to investment platforms and asset managers, as well as strong change and project management skills.

The successful candidate will be a strong, credible stakeholder manager and have the ability to collaborate with diverse teams across the business.
