Product Compliance Manager

LeMieux is seeking a Product Compliance Manager to join our Head Office team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance and safety of our products, particularly toys and children's wear, while also working closely with our Buying and Quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and interpret relevant regulations and standards for all product areas, with particular attention to toys and children's wear.
  • Product Testing & Certification: Coordinate product testing with third-party laboratories and work with suppliers to understand LeMieux's testing requirements.
  • Supplier Management: Evaluate and approve suppliers based on their ability to meet compliance standards and conduct regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Internal Training and Communication: Work closely with various functions to inform and deliver training programs for staff on compliance requirements and best practices.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of compliance documentation, including test reports, conformity certificates, and inspection records.

Requirements:

  • Proven background in Product Compliance with a thorough understanding of toy and children's wear regulations.
  • Previous experience with international compliance standards and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of product safety standards and regulatory requirements and local/international compliance laws.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work across several brand functions.
