Job Title: Senior Chef

Anchor Hanover is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chef to join our team at Oulton Manor, a luxury residential care home in Leeds.

About the Role:

  • Deputise for the Chef Manager and oversee all aspects of catering, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to our residents.
  • Supervise and mentor catering assistants to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent service.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety and health & safety procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.
  • Minimise waste and ensure efficient use of kitchen equipment.

Requirements:

  • Intermediate or level 3 food hygiene certificate with Cater craft or similar award.
  • Health & safety legislation knowledge, including COSHH and food safety standards.
  • Proven experience in chef and people management.
  • Basic knowledge of dietary requirements for older people.
  • Safe use of kitchen equipment, including knives.
