About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Team Lead to join our team at Oulton Manor, a luxury residential care home in Leeds. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deputise for the Chef Manager and manage all aspects of catering, ensuring a seamless service to our residents.
  • Supervise catering assistants on shift, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety and health & safety procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.
  • Minimise waste and use equipment correctly, promoting sustainability and efficiency in our kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Intermediate or level 3 food hygiene certificate with Cater craft or similar award.
  • Health & safety legislation knowledge, including COSHH and food safety standards.
  • Proven chef and people management experience, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Basic knowledge of dietary requirements for older people, with a focus on providing tailored meals.
  • Safe use of kitchen equipment, including knives, with a focus on efficiency and safety.
