Position Summary:
They are currently in search of a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join their project management team. This role involves managing the daily operations of construction sites within a typical 50-mile radius, although there may be occasions to work further afield for established clients.

This organization serves a diverse clientele across various sectors, including affordable housing, food services, retail, education, commercial, industrial, and healthcare.

Based at their primary construction division, the supervisor will oversee projects ranging from £500,000 to £12 million across all sectors.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering significant new build and renovation projects across multiple sectors. Candidates must possess experience in managing projects of comparable scale for main contractors.

Essential qualifications include health and safety certifications such as SMSTS and First Aid, while additional professional memberships or qualifications would be advantageous.

We seek a Construction Site Supervisor who thrives in an autonomous environment, capable of propelling projects forward and fostering strong relationships with project teams and clients.

This is a full-time position, with working hours from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, primarily based on-site within the East Midlands region.

The role also entails regular communication with broader project teams at the company’s construction office.


Candidate Profile:
Previous experience in site management is crucial, ideally within housing, commercial, and industrial projects.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to plan all facets of construction operations and develop construction schedules. A comprehensive understanding of construction processes and strong commercial acumen are required.
Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and people management skills are essential.

Professionalism and friendliness are expected when interacting with colleagues, contractors, clients, and all stakeholders in the supply chain.

A relevant academic qualification (HNC, HND, or Degree in a construction-related field) would be beneficial.

We prefer candidates with current qualifications and training, including SMSTS, First Aid, Black Managers CSCS card, asbestos awareness, working at height, and scaffold inspection.

A valid driving license is mandatory.
