About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Simulation Centre Manager to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to students, staff, and external partners.

Your primary focus will be on coordinating technical resources to ensure high-quality support for teaching, research, and enterprise activities. This will involve managing a small team, supporting practical classes, student project work, workshops, research, and income generation activities.

With a strong background in simulation and technical expertise, you will have experience in managing a simulation centre and possess knowledge of audio-visual and information technology systems. You will also have experience in management or supervision of staff within a UK setting and a solid understanding of health and safety work practices.

As a Simulation Centre Manager at the University of East London, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional technical support and contributing to the success of our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate technical resources to support teaching, research, and enterprise activities
  • Manage a small team of technical support staff
  • Support practical classes, student project work, workshops, research, and income generation activities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and external partners

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £45,579 per annum, plus benefits including 20% pension, 35 days holiday, hybrid working, subsidised gym membership, life assurance, and a cashback healthcare scheme.
