IC Verification and Validation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IC Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team at BlueGate Consulting. As an IC Verification and Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing test cases for IC designs, ensuring that they meet the required specifications and standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test cases for IC designs using Python and simulation platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that IC designs meet the required specifications and standards
  • Identify and report defects in IC designs and work with the design team to resolve them
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and other programming languages

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in IC verification and validation
  • Strong knowledge of Python and object-oriented software design
  • Experience with System Verilog for IC/FPGA verification
  • Excellent unit test skills and experience with Python frameworks (pytest, unittest)
  • Experience with reporting KPI and code coverage metrics for IC verification and validation

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with unit test frameworks, build scripting, and Jenkins CI/CD automation
  • Knowledge of real-time embedded firmware and CPU architecture
  • Experience with electronics design and general bench debug and test skills
