Job Title: Head of Financial Crime Consulting

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled individual to drive the implementation of our Financial Crime Consulting strategy across our core territories. As Head of Financial Crime Consulting, you will be responsible for developing and leading a hybrid team of direct and matrix-managed consultants to deliver financial crime consulting services to clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering financial crime consulting services to clients, focusing on advisory, assurance/review work, ongoing support, data analysis, and application of financial crime technology.
  • Understanding and summarizing regulatory change, writing articles for our newsletters and/or client communications.
  • Participating in regulatory projects and taking part in and leading client visits, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Keeping up to date with current regulatory developments and informing clients as necessary.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in financial crime consulting, regulatory compliance, and risk management. You should have a deep understanding of the regulatory and risk frameworks for financial crime and be able to apply this knowledge to consulting engagements and products/services in major financial services centers.

The successful candidate will have a degree and/or be a compliance practitioner with ten to fifteen years of relevant experience. You should be able to lead and work on projects alone or with the team, and be capable of working on-site at client offices using your own initiative.
