Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Lead to join our team at Siemens Energy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, collaborating closely with the Head of EHS to develop and implement the EHS strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement EHS strategies and policies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
- Collaborate with the Head of EHS to identify and address areas for continuous improvement, promoting a proactive EHS culture.
- Engage with employees at all levels to drive and embed a proactive health & safety culture through effective communication & coaching.
- Provide guidance and support to managers & employees on regulation and risk mitigation on health, safety, and environmental issues.
- Perform regular inspections across the site, accurately reporting the findings.
- Undertake incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis and internal auditing.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing/Engineering industry.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) in health and safety.
- NEBOSH or IEMA Environmental Management Certificate (desirable).
- Knowledge of Construction Design and Management Regulations.
- In-depth Knowledge of REACH Regulations.
- In-depth Knowledge of PUWER Regulations.
- In-depth Knowledge of HAV's Regulations.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
This role requires a strong understanding of EHS systems and processes, as well as the ability to lead business-wide initiatives and communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
