About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals working with schools in South Bristol. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students of all abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in managing the classroom and delivering lessons
  • Run activities and lead small group interventions to support student learning
  • Support students with SEN and report on their progress to SLT
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN
  • Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
