Job Summary

This exciting opportunity for an Configuration and Data Lifecycle Expert is available with our prominent client in the Defence and Security sector. The role involves leading the Configuration and Data Management team, ensuring effective Change Management across projects, supporting Release and Deployment Management for hardware and documents, introducing and managing a new configuration management system, planning and estimating Configuration Management work, engaging in process improvement initiatives, providing training and mentoring to team members, and building strong relationships with project teams, customers, and peers. The hybrid work environment requires 2-3 days on-site in Broughton, with the initial duration of this project set at six months.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Leading the Configuration and Data Management team.
  • Ensuring effective Change Management across projects.
  • Supporting Release and Deployment Management for hardware and documents.
  • Introducing and managing a new configuration management system.
  • Planning and estimating Configuration Management work.
  • Engaging in process improvement initiatives.
  • Providing training and mentoring to team members.
  • Building strong relationships with project teams, customers, and peers.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience in providing configuration management on aerospace projects, working with modifications to aerospace products, understanding data management principles, and excellent communication and leadership skills. Familiarity with Defence Hardware projects is advantageous. Our client offers a competitive salary of £53.50 per hour.
