Job Title: Director of Artificial Intelligence

Salary: Up to £120k base salary + benefits package

Location: London (Hybrid)

We're seeking a highly skilled Director of Artificial Intelligence to lead our innovative team in building cutting-edge AI and ML solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a High-Performing Data Science Team: Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of machine learning engineers to deliver impactful AI and ML solutions.
  • Drive Business Growth through AI: Define the AI strategy, identify opportunities for AI to drive business growth, and translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights.
  • Develop and Scale AI Capabilities: Oversee the development and deployment of robust AI pipelines, including fraud detection and risk assessment models.
  • Establish AI Excellence: Architect and implement efficient AI pipelines to streamline model development, deployment, and monitoring, ensuring model performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate Across the Organisation: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and communicate data-driven insights effectively.

  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading and growing high-performing data science teams, with a track record of delivering impactful AI solutions.
  • Deep AI Expertise: Strong foundation in AI techniques and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
  • AI Engineering Mastery: Proven ability to build and scale AI platforms, leveraging CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud technologies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Python, AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
