About the Role

Lord Accounting & Finance is expanding its team and looking for a Manufacturing Systems Engineer to lead the development of automated assembly lines and machinery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and commissioning these systems, ensuring they meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include designing and developing automated assembly lines and machinery, managing the full project lifecycle from design to commissioning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution. You will also be responsible for creating functional designs, programming complex automation solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with customers' facilities.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in programming automated production lines
  • Extensive knowledge of PLC and HMI design and commissioning
  • Exposure to Siemens TIA Portal and Step 7
  • Advanced knowledge of pneumatic safety principles, resistance welding, electrical standards, and latest safety standards
  • Proficiency in ladder, graph, and SCL languages, as well as automation solutions
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
