Job Summary: Systems Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Systems Support Engineer to join our team on the Challenger 3 programme. This role involves extensive travel, primarily within the UK and abroad.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering technical support for daily trials activities and enhancing user and customer relationships to ensure efficient solutions.
  • Addressing technical issues raised by users and maintainers, and overseeing the processing of Line Replacement Units.
  • Conducting configuration control tasks for contracted equipment, providing detailed build state information for platforms, systems, or subsystems.
  • Operating independently or collaboratively within a team with limited supervision.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of retrofit, modification, and conversion projects.
  • Providing expert technical support during trials, encompassing equipment failure analysis and LRU removal/replacement.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, ideally with a Level 3 qualification in Electronics.
  • Proven expertise in Hull & Turret Subsystem installation and fault diagnosis.
  • UK MOD 'SC' security clearance (RBSL will facilitate sponsorship if required).
Compensation and Benefits:

$60,000 - $80,000 annual salary
