Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our small Head Office Team at Wise Employment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the Credit Control & Sales Ledger function, working independently to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Credit Control function, including sending reminders and following up on outstanding payments
  • Process and reconcile sales ledger transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, as required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £28K - £30K
  • 29 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays
  • Free off-street parking

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, office-based
