About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Solicitor to join our Property Team within Legal and Democratic Services at Stockport Council.

As a Property Solicitor, you will be responsible for handling a varied workload, providing advice on high-profile matters, and working closely with the Council's departments and stakeholders.

You will have the opportunity to work on complex land transactions, asset management, and other general areas of law, depending on your experience.

About You
  • You will be a qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with at least 3+ years' PQE and hands-on real estate experience.
  • You will engage in a broad spectrum of work across various sectors, including acquisitions and disposals, and asset management.
  • You will build and sustain excellent collaborative working relationships with client departments, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • You will enjoy working as part of a dynamic, commercial, and pragmatic team and have the ability to work flexibly across the team.
  • You will actively contribute towards the team's precedents and internal know-how.
