Job Description
We are recruiting for a skilled Heavy Machinery Mechanic to join our team at GAP Group LTD. As a key member of our nationwide Plant and Tool division, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance and repair of heavy machinery within our fleet, enabling our customers to hire what they need, when they want it. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic depot team and contribute to the company's growth.

Responsibilities:
Your duties will include maintaining and repairing heavy machinery, such as diggers, dumpers, and hand tools, attending customer sites and breakdowns to provide technical support, and updating service records accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with the depot team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:
We require an experienced Heavy Machinery Mechanic with a proven track record in plant maintenance. You should have a relevant mechanical qualification or time-served experience, sound knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance, and strong attention to detail and accuracy. Additionally, you should be able to work effectively under pressure and possess a customer-focused approach. A valid driving license is also essential. The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as up to 25 days annual leave, a contributory pension scheme, life assurance, and employee welfare fund.
