We are seeking experienced Kurdish interpreters to join our team of multilingual professionals at Language Empire. As a freelance interpreter, you will have the opportunity to work with various public and private organisations across the UK, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other sectors.

Job Description

The role involves listening to, understanding, and reproducing speech from one language to another with 100% accuracy. You will interpret for individuals using legal, health, and local government services, ensuring seamless communication between service users and providers. This includes conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting, as well as dealing with confidential information.

You must be fluent in English and another language, have the right to work in the UK, and be aged 21 or over. Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages are advantageous.

Salary and Benefits

As an independent contractor, you will receive competitive hourly rates for your services, allowing you to work flexibly and manage your schedule accordingly. You will also enjoy ongoing support from our dedicated team and continuous professional development opportunities.

Our estimated salary for this position is £25-£35 per hour, based on industry standards and location factors. Please note that this is a self-employed position, and your earnings will depend on the number of assignments you secure.
