Project Engineer - Technical Expertise

Job Summary: Sodexo is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Macclesfield. As a key member of our Command Hub, you will be responsible for leading the Adhoc Works Team and overseeing chargeable works.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project engineering, ideally in the pharmaceutical or GMP industry, and familiarity with regulatory requirements. They will be able to develop and manage project budgets, provide cost-effective solutions, and stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning function to streamline workflows and consistently innovate.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, providing cost-effective solutions without compromising technical excellence.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to bring innovative solutions to the team.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to understand business objectives and align project activities accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project engineering, ideally in the pharmaceutical or GMP industry and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and a proactive approach to innovation and process optimisation.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to balance technical requirements with business objectives.
  • MIET, Master of Science or Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or equivalent technical experience highly preferable.
