Operational Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced senior project manager to lead the delivery of our £5 million capital investment scheme. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing the capital scheme, working closely with our teams across the Trust to ensure effective project and programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of the capital scheme, including planning and implementation
  • Work closely with directors, service managers, and clinicians to develop and implement plans for key strategic projects
  • Take the lead on specific aspects of activity analysis and modelling, and business case development
  • Maintain a reporting framework to keep the Programme Board Group and Senior Responsible Officers regularly appraised of progress
  • Manage programme/project risks and ensure interdependencies are visible and effectively managed
  • Influence, motivate, and negotiate with others at an executive and operational level to establish effective collaboration
  • Provide challenge and support to operational managers/leads, making judgements and decisions relating to the management of the programme

About the Role:

This is a key position working with managers and leaders across the Trust to ensure effective project and programme delivery. The successful candidate will have highly developed organisational and problem-solving skills, with experience of managing capital projects and associated operational implementation plans.
