Petrochemical Commissioning Specialist Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Petrochemical Commissioning Specialist to join our team. As a specialist, you will be responsible for managing commission plant equipment and systems during construction, ensuring they meet safety standards and adhere to QA/QC procedures established by regulatory bodies within the industry sector.

Main Responsibilities
  • Construction Phase Management: Manage commission plant equipment and systems during construction, ensuring they meet safety standards and adhere to QA/QC procedures.
  • Coordination: Liaise between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives, keeping them informed about schedule changes and updates related to ongoing projects.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets the required quality standards and is completed on time.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safely, CCNSG Safety Passport
  • Desirable Skills:
    1. Knowledgeable on DCS system configuration and programming
    2. Control Loop Tunings
    3. Familiarity with PLC Programming and software development
