Job Title: SEM Specialist

The Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as an SEM specialist. This role involves providing vital support within the classroom, assisting teachers and ensuring that pupils are engaging with their lessons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and support students to understand the importance of their education.
  • Foster a positive learning environment through effective communication and relationship-building.

Requirements:
  • Strong background in working with adults or young people with challenging behaviours, SEM needs, or additional needs.
  • Resilient and able to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
  • Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
  • Commitment to helping students understand the importance of their education and overcoming past negative experiences.

What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £23,000 per annum.
  • Paid statutory holiday pay.
