Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in Bath, South West. As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will work on two new build housing developments across Avon, Somerset and Wiltshire, reporting to the Quantity Surveyor.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Assist with commercial and surveying tasks on new build developments
* Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Collaborate with the Commercial team to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders

**Requirements**

* Recently qualified or experienced Trainee or Assistant Quantity Surveyor
* Experience working for a sub-contractor, main contractor, residential developer, or Housing Association
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
