Job Opportunity: Assistant/Associate Literary Scout

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant/Associate Literary Scout to join our team at BookBrunch Limited. As a key member of our scouting team, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new fiction and non-fiction titles for publication and adaptation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reading and reporting on a wide range of fiction and non-fiction titles
  • Maintaining our company database and client bulletins
  • Assisting with client queries and developing relationships with editors, agents, and rights professionals
  • Collaborating with our team to identify new opportunities and trends in the literary market

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in the publishing industry
  • Excellent reading taste and a keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
